Putting Challenge #1 - Miss The Wall, Kiss The Ball

I was asked by Jonnie Cliff to create some games for juniors to play at home during the lockdown and I thought it was a really good idea.

Turns out this game is fun for all ages!

Watch the video below to get involved in the challenge for your chance to win a free playing lesson with myself at Murrayfield Golf Club in Edinburgh.

What you need:

  • Golf balls

  • Putter

  • Floor

  • Wall

And some discipline!

Rules:

  1. Hit your first putt, don’t hit the wall. If you hit the wall, start again.

  2. Hit your next putt shorter than your previous putt.

  3. If you kiss the previous ball, this is perfection.

  4. If you go past the previous ball, start again.

  5. Keep going until you run out of golf balls!

Aim of the game:

  1. To not hit the wall with your first putt

  2. To not hit a ball past your previous putt

  3. To ladder as many balls in a row as possible

How to win a free on course playing lesson:

  1. Post your video attempt on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram

  2. Tag @golfmurrayfield & @mikemcnallygolf

  3. Tag 3 of your friends and challenge them to take the challenge!

  4. Entries close Sunday 12th April 2020 @ 10pm

  5. Winner will be announced on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram
